He was previously the chairman of the board for the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees). He also served as a past president of the Northern Arizona Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Additionally, he has served as an ambassador for the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce and has been an active member of the Rotary Club since 1993.
