Sean McDermott, CFP, is the co-owner, founder, and president Summit Investment Advisors. Sean's career in financial services spans more than 30 years. As a Certified Financial Planner, he finds no greater satisfaction in helping clients live the lives they've imagined.

Sean graduated from St. John's University with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting. Thereafter he earned his Certified Financial Planner degree from the College for Financial Planning. He holds a series 7 and 63 and is a registered series 24 and 51 principal supervisor to LPL Financial. In addition, Sean is a licensed health/variable annuity insurance agent.

Sean and his wife, Gina, met in college and married shortly after graduation. They have three children, Logan, Landon, and Lexa. When not helping his clients achieve their financial goals, Sean enjoys golfing and biking and walks over 1,000 miles yearly with his wife, Gina!
