SOFA DOES NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON MEMBERSHIP

BY READING AND CHECKING THE BOX ON THE SIGN UP FORM I AGREE TO REMAIN COMPLIANT WITHIN THE FOLLOWING SOFA
MEMBERSHIP BYLAWS:

#1 As a member of SOFA, I will conduct myself with the highest degree of
professionalism and integrity at all times.
#2 Upon my written acceptance of SOFA membership, I pledge to:
- Adhere to SOFA's Compliance rules and regulations.
- Take quality time to go through SOFA's Member Handbook (Transformation),
as well as the training videos provided me to quickly learn the "SOFA
Way".
- Absolutely not promote my company, firm, or employer at any and all SOFA
events.
- Seek written approval from SOFA's Compliance Department on any material
or content I provide during my workshop presentations... including any
marketing or promotional pieces.
- Never allow a non-member to participate as a "SOFA Guest" speaker at any
SOFA events that I am participating in. If so, I realize termination of my
membership will occur – no exceptions. This is a "zero tolerance" issue
at SOFA.
#3 I will not infringe upon any one particular venue location currently
serviced by another SOFA member. Poaching may result in my immediate
membership termination.
#4 As a member of SOFA, the nature of all my promotional and presentation
content will be for educational purposes only.
#5 At the start of every seminar event, I will disclose my profession and
communicate the "SOFA Presentation Disclaimer" to ensure transparency and
clarity with my audience.
#6 I acknowledge that no selling of products will occur during my seminar
events.
#7 I agree to apply the "SOFA Evaluation Form" in each one of my seminar
events. Whether a seminar attendee decides to accept or deny a
complimentary consultation, I will honor their request.
#8 I agree to submit a current "Activity Report" to SOFA Headquarters,
keeping SOFA informed, of all workshops scheduled that I plan to
participate at. For each one of my seminar events, I will submit the
required information into the "Seminar Events" tab located within my
online membership account.
#9 With my professional knowledge and expertise, I pledge to bring
financial literacy to the people in my community.
COMPLIANCE GUIDELINES In addition to the Membership By-laws you are
required to understand and uphold the SOFA Compliance Guidelines at all
times. The SOFA Compliance provides additional jargon to protect and
uphold the credibility and track record of the SOFA nonprofit status and
nationwide presence. The SOFA Compliance is also intended to ensure that
you, the SOFA member, are positioned effectively and ethically as your
work to bring educational and informative content to the people in your
community.

1. All SOFA members must be licensed professionals.
2. SOFA members consist of Financial Advisors, Insurance Agents, Estate
Planning Attorneys, Accountants, CPAs, Mortgage Brokers, Realtors, and
Health & Wellness Professionals. Any other Profession similar or related
to Financial Awareness is welcome to request participation by contacting
SOFA HQ at compliance@sofausa.org to seek additional qualifications.
3. SOFA events consist of organized seminars but not limited to exclusive
speaking engagements, tradeshows, publications, conferences and any other
creative form of organized events for the promotion of financial awareness
and financial literacy.
4. All SOFA members promoting or presenting the SOFA brand must be dues
paying members unless granted otherwise.
5. As a member of SOFA you must first disclose your professional
background and expertise along with your current representation as a SOFA
member to provide clarity and transparency with your audience.
6. For all organized events, you must always communicate SOFA's
disclaimer: The Society for Financial Awareness ("SOFA") is a 501c3
nonprofit public benefits corporation dedicated to financial literacy.
SOFA is not affiliated to the source creation of this presentation nor do
they take any part in any Professional and/or business advice beyond the
presentation provided. SOFA supports the content in this presentation for
educational purposes only. SOFA supports the content in this presentation

7. All SOFA members must ensure that their promotional and presentation
content is used for educational, informative, and hopefully inspiring
purposes only.
8. No selling of products is allowed at the seminar events.
9. The mentioning of generic financial instruments or vehicles is allowed.
However, the mentioning and or promoting of any one specific company
endorsed product are forbidden. All financial information presented is to
remain unbiased and generic.
10. For all seminar style events, you are required to use an "Evaluation
Form" to seek feedback and or permission to continue communication with
the audience member on a one on one consultation basis.
11. For any SOFA member partaking In SOFA's nonprofit postage discount
eligibility, you are required to include SOFA's logo, mission statement,
and SOFA HQ return address on the front of your postcard invitation.
12. All members who partake in the postage discount are required to comply
with USPS Publication 417.
13. Regarding venue locations, SOFA HQ will protect and honor a "first
come, first serve" territory representation model.
14. All SOFA members are required to report and submit Seminar Events to
SOFA HQ. The Seminar Report portal is located in the red button tab within
your online membership online account.
15. Territories: 1) Libraries, Colleges, Community Centers, and other
public venues are open to everyone. (2) Companies are exclusive
territories and must be active each year to keep company. (3) Submit
Seminar Reports to lock down companies.
16. All SOFA members must remain current on their membership dues. Any
outstanding or unpaid membership dues may result in losing membership
privileges.
17. SOFA HQ reserves the right to revoke your membership privileges at any
time for any undisclosed reason.
18. Any venue location acquired under the SOFA representation, SOFA HQ
reserves the right to reassign that venue location to an alternative SOFA
member.
19. SOFA HQ also reserves the right to reassign a particular venue
location if in fact that venue location decision maker requests for an
alternative SOFA member.
20. Beyond the pre-packaged presentation content located within your
online membership account portal, you are encourage to submit customized
presentation content to SOFA HQ at compliance@sofausa.org for review and
approach.
21. For all customized content, it is required of you to seek content
approval through SOFA HQ at compliance@sofausa.org to ensure that you are
providing true educational value.
22. While representing a nationwide nonprofit educational organization you
are to uphold professionalism, integrity and respect to the people in
their community at all times.
23. We encourage you to refer to your nine "Membership By-Laws" as a
reference point to uphold the ethical standards for representing the
nonprofit educational platform.
24. Any attempt to copy, duplicate, or reproduce the concept of SOFA or
its materials, are expressly forbidden and will have actionable
consequences upon such member, not excluding attorney fees, court costs,
or litigation.
25. Regarding SOFA's Membership Programs and Campaigns; it is expected, at
time of membership, that the SOFA member familiarizes oneself to the
offered initiatives by SOFA...
