Charles began his career in 1992 with American Express Financial Advisors where he served as Branch Manager and Senior Financial Advisor before opening an independent practice through LPL Financial in 2005. The office was quickly recognized as one of the area’s 25 fastest growing companies by the Hartford Business Journal. In 2013 Charles led the office through a transition to become the truly independent Vaylark Financial Services.

As both a member of Business for Downtown Hartford and resident of the city, Charles is passionate about the revitalization of the downtown Hartford area. When not running the office, researching opportunities or spending time with family, he is a part-time pilot, accomplished musician and photographer, and serves as an officer in the local Civil Air Patrol.
