I was born and raised in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. My mother, who was widowed at a young age with three children under the age of six, taught me many life lessons about money and working hard. Experiencing many financial struggles and witnessing firsthand how hard my mother worked to provide for our family motivated me to plan a more secure financial future through saving and investing.
I began and spent my career at EY as a CPA and recently retired. My passion for helping others plan for their financial future inspired me to start the next chapter of my career as the financial wellness director at a local asset management firm.
I am dedicated to providing financial literacy education to inspire and empower others to plan and achieve economic security and enjoy a secure financial future.
